Unit 312 3.1
Hi, could anyone help me with this question please........use a range of strategies for supporting learners to use and apply mathematics to solve problems
Thank you :With love: |
What age are we talking?
I had this covered in a observation by my tutor, I read 'The Very Hungry Catterpillar' to the childen, and got them to count how many fruits their was, and had props. I would say using props, stories, using things each child is interested in.... eg: Kyle likes playing with cars, get Kyle to do mathematical sums using cars, ask Kyle questions math related to solve problems.... eg: You have 10 cars... "I need to take 3 cars away, how many cars are left?" Once he gets the hang of it, start using colours, "I have 4 red cars, how many green cars are there?" Hope this helps?:jump: |
Thank you so much, it has helped loads
