Where Does Santa Live? Poll

It seems that Santa lives in a few different places, so I thought it would be fun to have a mini poll to see what we were told as children/tell our children now!:D

If you vote 'Other', please come back and tell us where! :cheerful:

Definitive Answer!!!!!!!!!!

WELL, it just so happens I have just got back from Santas house!!!!!!!!

Me and my family have just been for a day trip to see him in LAPLAND, which is in the Arctic Circle!! The Geographic 'North Pole' is the middle point at the top of the earth (the magnetic north pole is slightly further away).

So Santa definintely lives in LAPLAND!!

But I just want to share this with you (as I didn't know this before I went):

LAPLAND is not a country. Its the name of a 'cultural region' that covers an area accross Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia. (We were in Ivalo, in Finland) Lapland is in the Arctic Circle

I will pop another post on in the relevant category all about our day, which I would HIGHLY recommend to children and adults alike!!

well the children at pre-school are convinced he lives in the loft!!
we have an odd door in the roof space , used to be storage for animal feeds in past past days, and each year the children tell me that Santa lives there... different children each year do this with no prompting from us or anyone else, not heard from other children as it is a new group every year.... wonder why they do that.

our children each year seem convinecd that we live at the hall (which is a village hall so not just us!!)
they look so surprised if the see us about with our children etc.

my son was the same, used to think his ladies lived at the hall, even though we actually knew them and visited them!!

LOL .. that always tickled me .. especially if you bumped into the littlies around a supermarket .. their chins would hit the floor !!
My Ds is exactly the same though .. goes all quiet and giggly when he sees his teacher walking down the road :D
