Hi

i completed this through a pd, you need to also think of what you can do to help them communicate such as PECS (picture exchange communication system), visual time table, visual aids, modelling their language, commenting on their play, only use one more word than the child otherwise thay may get confused (child only uses one word such as car, you may say red car or fast car, only extend by one word), what kind of strategies do you use to help them communicate?

Hope it gives you ideas

Lynne
