i have no idea I'm afraid but curious why you are asking them to trace something? they are more than capable of free expression and creating a beach if they want to. i thought the days of tracing numbers and letters let alone pictures were ancient history

The more I read on schema and schematic organisation the more I wonder how tracing pre-drawn images fits with early learning. Ive yet to find a case study or specific research but distinctly remember that as a young child I found the skill involved with this type of replication quite rewarding certainly equal to that of loose part, mixed media creation.
Welshy how about enlarged photographs of shells, a seagull, bucket and spade, a crab maybe! along with transparent paper & scribing tools? or real items that can have their outlines traced like hands & fingers that dig in sand. xx |
