Scmp1

1.4 effective methods/ways to engage child could be an appropriate venue or location, contributions through play, pictures, allowing the children to get engaged in setting the ground rules in play or activity choice, written contributions or video or audio contributions
1.5 permanency planning is necessary for looked after children (in care) who need to have plans made for their long term future. Its to give each child or young person a greater sense of security and if possible a family for life. It takes into account the child or young persons history and needs, and how best to meet those needs in the future. It takes into account individual circumstances and the age, needs and abilities of the child. It should include the child and relevant others in decision making.
Hope this helps a bit. good luck

discussing the legislation regarding every child matters and placing the child at the centre of all planning is also relevant to 1.4 and giving an example of this. Children should be able to have a voice in their planning and to be listened to etc (age appropriate) in my own case I am an advocate in the assessment and planning around the children in my care
