Explain how own working practices can affect children and young peoples development
I have started to answer this in a table listing the positive and negative's
within my setting such as observations and assessments i.e. positive allow us to assess development and impliment a progression plan. Negative being that if we did not do observations could lead to inappropriate planning that does not meet the needs/development of a child as well as not recognising a child may have specific delays in development. I was also going to cover the positive and negatives of poor relatipnships with colleagues and parents. the impact of updating and maintaining qualification as well as the reluctancy to gain further qualification am i on the right track??? Any help would be greatly appreciated Head frazzled:dizzy::dizzy: |
How about how you model good behaviour being polite good hygiene practices how you go down to childrens level to speak to them and take time to listen to them as this makes them feel valued and gives them confidence to approach people how you support them when taking safe risks giving them good self esteem how you praise them and encourage them in activities making them feel valued
