Book Review for Preschool, Nursery and Early Years.

Kippers Christmas Eve ~ Written and Illustrated by Mick Inkpen

Another fantastic story book for Christmas.

The biggest and sweetest surprise in the edition we have is the real flashing red light of Arnold's hat in the back of the book (hardbacked) brilliant

The 'quieter side to this story (revealed at the end !!) are the exploits that the little mouse has, as it too is rehomed with Kipper's Christmas tree :D lol

Story moral ... if giving battery operated toys as presents this year .. remember the batteries !! :cheerful:

********************

Activities Around this book can include ..
  • Discussing the expectation of presents and the reality of recieving them ~
    Quote:

Which is best ~ Christmas Day or Christmas Eve ?
  • Choosing Christmas trees - Green or blue ones , real or artificial?
  • Wrapping presents ~ types of materials, patterns of fabric/papers, ribbons & bows.
