hi can anyone help stuck on question why social and emotional identity is important to the wellbeing and resilience of children/youngpeople. thanks jan

if a child belongs to a family who is denigrated for something ie being poor or their race or religion,what sort of impact will this have on their well being? this would be their social identity, if they are emotionally abused or bullied for being fat how will this impact on their resilience? their emotional identity. think in terms of what happens in real life.
