Analyse the importance of supporting resilience in children and young people, think of in what ways this promotes the childrens future life skills, why does this support them and why do you feel they need to have this skill, what ways could you support this.

begin with the definition of resilience, a appropriate one is on the barnados website and then go into what makes a child resilient , e.g tragic life experiences a parent dying for an example whilst the child was very young or a ill parent. resilience is basically a way in which a child bounces back after such situations.
