how long did it take u to set up as childminders, from filling in forms to being registered to filing places?:spin:

i'm currently in the process, i sent off my forms last week and ofsted have rang 2 say that they have recieved them and will process them. :cheerful:

Hi Joshie make sure you have policies and procedures in place, a correctly stocked first aid kit, stair-gates and socket covers fitted,everything clean tidy and welcoming, knowledge of child protection or where to go ie courses to get the knowledge . Good luck, if I think of more I'll add it I'm sure to have forgotten but good luck!

It took ages for me to get all the documents back, but glad i stuck with it :D

Yep and im registered now too as of yesterday!:D :D

it took just 7 weeks from posting off forms to being registered!!:thumbsup:
