Any information (that any of the above mentioned people suggest) to the setting and used to change or adapt policies and procedures is feedback.

Many years ago a mother told me a parent was driving too fast into the car park (obviously dangerous- especially more so where young children are around). As well as having a word with the parent (sensitively) I decided to include it into our newsletter (every time) to remind all parents to drive slowly and be vigilant.

A professional who visits may suggest something such as moving locks inside toilets to a higher level so that children cannot lock themselves in and you act upon it - moving them up. This may in turn make you think and you decide to evaluate all your policies and procedures and you change/adapt a few more policies and procedures because of this process.

Try and think if your setting has ever had something suggested and you have acted upon it by adding or adapting your policies and procedures.
