Got a brain blockage

Hi I'm on my last 2 questions of my level 2. Stuck on WHY its important to work with children and young people to ensure that they have ways to protect themselves and make decisions about safety. The second questions similar but stating HOW its done. No problems with the HOW but cannot think what to write for WHY and ensure i have done enough as this is a level 3 unit!!

simple you are teaching them to be aware socially alert to hte outside world.to.be able to tell what is right and wrong.something if they dont feel confident and sure about,always let an adult know
