Safeguarding

Hi :)
Im on a question which asks to explain my settings policy on safeguarding children. however, when looking through the policy and procedures folder i cant find a policy on safeguarding, only a child protection statement.
Are these the same?
Cheers

no
safeguarding is about loads of policies all the ones that keep children safe. no setting will have one safeguarding procedure they will be lots. tho a policy is just a statement of course so there will be one policy.

I have a prof discussion with my assesor regarding this on Wednesday, would I be right in talking about the settings child protection/safeguarding policy and also the confidentiality, risk assessments and general running of the setting ie: signing in and out, door alarms, crb's, volunteers to the setting etc..
Am very worried about my first professional discussion so any advice gratefully received.
I have to cover H&S, Risk assessment procedures
also observation procedures and safeguarding procedures

Thank you
