could anyone help recalling the name of a theory/approach
 

Hiya all,

Bit of a difficult question but im desperately trying to remember the name of an approach someone was talking to me about:

They described it as quite a hippyish theory, treating the child as an idividual spirit and seamed quite spiritually focused (without being religious)
I know it began with an "S" and remember thinking at the time it was quite a german sounding name?

I really hope this rings some bells with someone as ive tried typing everything i can think of into google but with no results! :banghead:
