vinvolved Essex Southend and Thurrock
 

V is the youth volunteering programme for young people aged 16-25 and young people volunteer in their local community and receive recognition for this as well as great experiences and something to go on their CV. There are 107 vinvolved Teams and Essex Southend & Thurrock are one of these. Cuts have been made and there is no further funding to have local vteams. This will not be a good impact for local communities and there will be no youth volunteering locally for these young people. It has been a great programme and over 4000 young people have benfited just in our area.
