i wrote that a Learning style is the manner in which each of us best comes to understand and implement new information. As all people differ, so does their natural inclination to learn. In general there are three types of learning styles, with most people making use of a blend but favouring one style above the others as their predominant method. and i then went on to talk about the following headings- Visual learners Auditory learners Tactile Learners hope this helps a little dianne |
kolbs theory is relly about reflection not learning styles. you need to think about VAKS google it. learning styles are more and more dismissed by educational theory as pointless as we should allow for every sense to be utilised in learning. kolb however as well as gibbs and brookfield can be used to reflect on practice on a daily basis. you need to read it up to understand it and apply it, dont trust a textbook which isn't an academic text it isn't a true reference you need to read deeper.
