Compliments procedures

Hi :), does anyone have a compliments procedures in their setting as I don't have one in my setting. But for my induction standards workbook I need to write about compliments procedures. I have already written about the the grievance and complaints procedures in my setting. Surely for the compliments procedures you just thank the person for the compliment..... right? This was what my manager told me to write as she was also unsure what I was suppose to write for this procedure.

You could put a sheet in showing how you approach parents for feedback about the service you provide.

Maybe asking them to talk about one thing they are happy with (the compliment) and one they wish you did differently.

this will also be good for showing Ofsted and including in your SEF.

Hth :cheerful:

In my last job we had a book in the lobby speciifically for parents to write in. they could write anything they wanted in it and put their name to it or be annonymous. Our children wear no shoes in the rooms to help prevent germs and the carpets being filthy. We had one parent say they would prefer their child to be made to wear her slippers which they provided and that nursery kept forgetting to put on her. we also had one parent who said i hate the place it's awful coming to drop your kids off knowing that you cant stay to play and have dinner.
