Foster carer FC 3 Level 3

Hi,

I'm on FC 3 at the moment and I've: drawn a blank - I'm looking at the question for too long and confusing myself!!!
Can anyone help with the following:

"Summarise theories of attachment"

:SOS help.arghh:With love:

Hi, you'll need to clarify which theorists you're expected to research with your tutor, they might include John Bowlby, Mary Ainsworth, Main and Solomon, Donald Winnicott

Theories look at the types of attachment, separation, anxiety, insecurity, the significant people in a child's life and objects that children can become emotionally attached to.

Foster Care unit 3 on OCR.org and on minimumstandards.org positive behaviour and relationships

If you search for 'Mary' in the preview of this book on amazon there is a little reading on page 70

Best wishes xx

Hi Ruthierhyme,

Thank you for reply.

My tutor sets me questions in no particular order on this - I'm long distance learning......I already researched a while ago about the theories so I need to summarise now.

Cheers

ahh that's great so using what you've already researched & written about, Cache's definition for summarise is to give the main ideas or facts in a concise way

Best wishes
