:rotfl: The children can come and dig in my garden ,its been re done at the moment.Lots of the areas of learning here!Noticed a hedgehog to-day (he should have been asleep!)so taken him to the vet where he will go to the rescue centre and then be returned to us.His name is Prickles!
Have found a great book called The little Book of Growing Things published by

Here are a few from my file:

Seed collages - Using seeds, beans, seed packets if available make a collage

Muffin Liner Flowers - Glue a muffin liner to a piece of paper, add petals, stem, leaves (Yellow liners make great daffodils)

Provide silk flowers, pots, shovels, hats, seed packets, watering cans, etc to liven the drama corner

Explore worms and dirt

Add lavender essential oil to a batch of purple playdough for a great smelling experience

Handprint tulips - Paint entire hand, fingers pressed together for flower, and outside edge of the hand green for the stem and leaves.

Any recipe that uses fresh produce that can be grown in a garden

Just be carefull with seeds etc.I think you have to cover them for health and safety reasons.
Have a sponsored sun flower growth .

What about cutting out yellow petals, gluing them to the rim of a paper plate the gluing sunflower seeds in the centre to make sunflowers. :spin: Again, careful with seeds!!!
