Durr! speech language and communication! its in the question. . . silly me, but I still hate abbreviations!

sarahfaith399 02-10-2014 02:23 PM

Ha ha ha! bless you! It took me a while to work out SALT!!

Can you help me with my question of how much I am meant to write per question?

Diane Gills 02-10-2014 03:50 PM

not totally sure, but not degree level amounts, its a level 3 so at a guess we are talking paragraphs rather than sentences or pages! feel free to correct me anyone out there? :)

sarahfaith399 02-10-2014 03:51 PM

oh pants, I have written a minimum of 3 pages per task :/

Thank you so much for replying

Diane Gills 02-10-2014 03:55 PM

don't delete it, different tutors might expect different levels of written work, I'm talking minimal, check with your tutor and let me know, I'm curious now.

I wont delete it but I am concerned i'm spending too much time per task :( hmmmmm now how to find my tutors contact details!

This was the reply:
With regard to assignment answers, there is no word count or ideal length of answer.* You should aim to provide sufficient information to demonstrate the knowledge and understanding (and where appropriate skill) requested in the task question. Provided that you tutor can see that you have the requisite understanding of the topic you will have written enough. Sometimes this will be a few paragraphs but occasionally may require a page or two (depending on font size/handwriting and how succinctly you can put your points across on paper).* Often the best is to submit an assignment for marking so that your tutor can asses the level of details you are providing and provide feedback accordingly.

Which task is it that u need help with?

Hiya,

really struggling with this one, Explain how multi agency teams work together to support speech, language and communication?

I understand that they meet together and discuss the needs of children and it helps to identify a common goal, but how do they actually work together?
And how does it support, language and communication?

Not sure of how to start of, thanks (:
