The Police Act 1997 ( Criminal Records) Regulations 2002

can anyone help by explaining the THE POLICE ACT 1997 ( CRIMINAL RECORDS) REGULATIONS 2002 to me in easy simply terms. i have tried readiing it but makes no sense.

i think i finally understand it. the police act 1997 describes how employers have the right, under certain circumstances, to know a persons backgroud through a crb check, for example working with vulnerable people and children
