Assignment layout

This is my first post and I hope I get this right,
I’m doing EYFS Level 3 educator. I am on my first assignment, it want me to give details of brain and cognitive development from conception to 7 years of age, I’m just wondering how everyone has set this out? Did you do a table or did you write paragraphs on different ages.
Any help is much appreciated.

I did paragraphs for my one.... but my course has a recommended word count for each question so I knew a table would not have enough information to pass.
