Book Review: Contrary Mary

Contrary Mary written by Anita Jeram is an excellent book full of very cute contrary actions and situations.

An emotion we can probably all associate with at one time or another :D lol. This book is a great read aloud opportunity to share the fun aspect of being 'independantly minded :cheerful: or, maybe as an adult one who enjoys the challenge of 'variating the decision making !!

BLURB:

When Mary got up this morning she was feeling contrary.

She put her cap on back to front and her shoes on the wrong feet.

And that was just the start of a very contrary day.
She goes on to request an very unusual breakfast and refuses the shelter of an umbrella .. all in all Mary has quite an adventurous day until at bedtime when the normal routine is turned upside down by Mum playing along ..

Mary is tucked up in bed.. but the wrong way up, has her toes kissed 'good morning and the curtains opened wide .. on the final page Mum asks mary if she loves her .. No replies Mary giving her mum a big kiss :cheerful:

:With love:
