With the leaves starting to turn into the rich colours of autumn we took off to collect a few..

:leaf: Ways to use the photo:
:leaf: Colour recognition: pick out the green, red, yellows & browns of Autumn.
:leaf: Lay a piece of tracing paper over the top and see if the children can identify the coloured areas and fill with their own colours - crrayons or other mark making tools.
:leaf: Have autumn coloured playdough, a rolling pin and some leaf shape cutters. Use the photo laminated and build own leaf fall image on top.
:leaf: Use as an autumn place mat, sorting sheets or room sign.
:leaf: Talk about what animals / creatures would like to ruffle through autumn leaves - we saw 3 squirrels on our hunt for these!! :D slugs, snails, dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits ?

:leaf: Leaf creatures - Use your collection of leaves to make weird and wonderful creatures! ask the children what body parts their creature/monster has and use a black marker to add facial features.
