we often have a shoe shop!

we have just bought the most lovely mini laundry baskets so we can do a laundarette we have one just down the road so we can visit.
we have also done a boat on the river we used our large sand tray and hocky sticks for paddles,we went fishing with nets numbering the fish and made up a picnic hamper . it all went well till I got in it then got stuck because my back was playing up lol.

we quiet often link our role play area with our theme or topic if we can. For instance we have been doing shoe based stories. The Elves and the Shoemakers... Cinderella etc so we have made a shoe shop there.

We .re learning about things growing, spring and plants etc. So we,ve changed our role play corner into a garden centre/flower shop. We have plants pots. soil, seeds, and laminated seed packets. A small cafe type table and mugs ( real ones) a shop till, coins, and some small labels and pencils...... we,lll be making flowers and pretend plants to add to the real ones as craft activities.
