Hi, a warm welcome to the site. Try not to write anything up yet. Take some time to read ECM, get to know its document content and what it aims to achieve for children and young people.

ECM publication and archived summary

Before putting pen to paper, or finger to keyboard consider if ECM discriminates against any individual or groups, or if it wants the same opportunities given to everyone, suggesting how it hopes that will begin and continue to happen - the start of Surestart, children centres ( one of ECM's universal services) where a myriad of services can be accessed by local families, in celebration of the diversity or differences in cultural beliefs, lifestyle choices and values that a community brings. Is your setting one of these?

Meaning of equality, diversity and inclusion

The Equality act 2010 states the type of discrimination that is unlawful.

Best wishes
