Hi, would these help ..
Level 3 handbook on amazon.co.uk provide children with information on safety, well-being and protection support them non-judgmentally whenever there is need Ensure children know they are able to ask for help and that help is always answered Challenge discrimination and defend a child's right to rights Include them in decision making activities and value what they say wholly Provide choices that support positive outcomes and the reasoning behind choices - health eating, personal safety eg. sun awareness, saying stop, anti-bullying, dental care, sharing experiences, concerns & worries Encourage situations and opportunities for them to be part of risk that develops their independence, confidence and self-esteem Liase with parents to help understand child development, behaviour and ways to overcome,r work through and celebrate times of accomplishment, conflict, confrontation, challenge at home and at the setting. It might also help if you look at empowerment and see what it is you're aiming to achieve for the children eg. for them to develop physically, intellectually, morally, socially and emotionally as age or stage may depict, gain self awareness and the importance of their self, what rights are, how to empathise with others, protect, warn and be able to stop /prevent /avoid situations that pose unacceptable levels of risk - safeguarding and child protection.
