Help needed, nearly there but have hit a wall

Hi, I've been working on my last unit for my level 3 for for far too long now, and just need a nudge in the right direction, i'm stuck with the optional unit lead and manage a community based early years setting outcome 1 and outcome 4.1
basically what are the purposes and features of a community based setting, i've written and rewritten about my setting, being based in the local school so easy access to all in the surrounding areas, that we take children from 2 years to start to help them socialise, I've done our opening hours what we want to
achieve, but not sure this is right, has anyone done this unit or is doing it and can push me in the right direction, just want to finish now and this is really holding me back :hissyfit::duh::sigh:

Hi, sounds good, the unit CYPOP3 on OCR has some additional information that might help with the rest of the unit and the handbook by Cache contains the unit in detail - preview on amazon.o.uk pg 401+

Features might also be
  • ability and position to recognise local views and needs
  • offer provision that ensures children are able to learn through play
  • have parent partnerships that are important and enable supportive relationships to be built
  • children's learning at home is taken into account when considering all areas of support, planning and partnership liason.
  • parents, carers and appropriate personell are kept up-to-date and fully informed of children's individual progress and daily/significant happenings
  • setting works inclusively
Quote:

Purpose can depend on the type of setting:
Registered providers who are expected to work within the requirements of England's EYFS
  • reception and nursery lasses in maintained and independant schools
  • day nurseries
  • childminders
  • after-shool and breakfast lubs
  • holiday play schemes
  • children's centres
Providers not expected to implement EYFS
  • mother & toddler groups
  • nannies
  • short-term, occasional are eg. creche

Hth xx
