Puff Paint Recipe

A great recipe for a producing a raised textured paint medium.

You will need washed, clean squeezy bottles as the application tools ~ old sauce or washing up liquid bottles are ideal.

In a bowl mix together equal quantities of :-

Self Raising flour ~ salt and water ~ add a tablespoon of ready mix or powder paint (a little more water may need to be added )

Consistency should be of thick yoghurt.

Scoop and pour it into the bottles and re tighten the lid.

Create pictures by squeezing the mixture out of the nozzled end.

As the paint dries the raising agents in the flour should make it puff up slightly, giving a different feel to the finished pieces :cheerful:

A few good subjects to use as basic ouline work are ...

Weather & Nature
Sun ~ Clouds ~ rain drops ~ Rainbows ~ Tree Trunks ~ Leaf veins
Animals
Curly snakes, snails, piglet tails, whiskers, fur.
All about me
Hair, Glasses, jewelry, buttons, tongues.

Letter and number formations.
