New Taste Sensations Please!

Hi,

I know it's a little while until Shrove Tuesday, but I like to be organised! We're getting a little bored of sugar and lemon or golden syrup on our pancakes, does anyone have any fresh ideas for fillings that a 6 year old can 'help' with and possibly a 17month old? My taste-buds would be eternally grateful! :yummy:

Thanks

Tracey

Strawberries or any type of fruit!
Chocolate
Flavoured syrup ie, chocolate, strawberry etc
Ice cream, in any flavour or mixed!

Savoury fillings......mince or make a kebab out of the pancakes

Can't think of any more but hope these will help to get your taste buds a going! :rotfl: :yummy:  :goodvibes :stirthepo

MMMMMMM!!! Some tasty sounding suggestions. Thanks.:yummy:
Ruthierhyme!!! I think I'll have to try yours out, just for scientific purposes you understand!:rotfl:

My children (when a lot younger!) said that the marshmallow and choc spread was YUMMY but got a bit sickly after a while!!! (probably because they kept wanting them day after day!!

We were on holiday on one of the Greek Islands when we were 'introduced' to the chocolate pancakes and have tried lots of variations of them! Choc and banana, choc and marshmallow, choc and crunched up choc biscuits, choc and orange, choc and more choc!!! :yummy:  :stirthepo

Think I might have to go and see if there's any chocolate left in my secret stash now!!!!!

Have fun trying out and experimenting with all the different fillings!! :spin:

My mouth is watering! :yummy: You all realise that I ACTUALLY have to test each and every suggestion, can't risk the family being disappointed - you understand!:rotfl: Now, if anyone can help with cocktails, I'd be REALLY happy!!!!! :D And drunk!:dizzy:

Where are you ,your more than welcome to come to OUR PUB ,we are running one in Staffordshire.
We actually had a pancake competition one year and lots of mums and dads and grand parents joined in.early evening just after school. That was when I was still in childcare

Unfortunately, it's a bit far to Staffordshire from the North East to justify a couple of drinks!:weepy: But if I'm ever in the area........
