please help...
STL 32
1.1 Explain how a learning support practitioner may contribute to the planning, delivery and review of learning activities.

Hi, are you part of the planning process in your setting? do you assist delivery in any way and are you able to review or look into the activities provided? Maybe through meetings, assessments, observations, ideas that you've gathered to extend the learning opportunities an existing activity offers ..

well i do help in the activities... but its ma class teacher who does all the planning...

helping in the activities would be the delivery. If you pass on ideas, observations or suggestions that would be contributing to planning.

thank you...

Hi - do you give feedback to your teacher about how the sessions went? the teacher uses that info to inform their planning so you contribute that way. whenever you talk to your teacher about what went well or what aspects the children struggled with you are making a contribution because it helps the teacher plan the next step. so without realising it you are contributing to planning

Supporting learning activities unit - help

hello, i am really struggling with this unit and as i am in nursery placement one day a week and dont am not actually involved in any activities , plannning or discussions. While there i tend to clean, and generally play with pupils , assist with puzzles, worksheets etc - all very basic. I have just completed my personal dev unit which was a nightmare due to lack of structure about my role and am now really worried about how i am to complete this next, long, unit!!!! :worried:

could you not take notes on how they are able to complete puzzles, worksheets etc eg where the puzzles too hard/easy are they able to hold a pencil correctly when doing worksheets. Whilst just playing with the children in our setting we encourage them to count say colours etc if they know them we write on post it notes then when doing assessments or treasure books these are helpful to anyone who is planning or assessing them
