Assessment help!!!!!
Hey guys!!
I am due for a second assessment shortly, and i have to create an activity that involves the children investigating and exploring a certain activity. I already have an idea of using coloured ice cubes and putting them in water, therefore the children will see that the water changes colour. I was just wondering if that would be a good idea, and if anyone had any tips for me it would be fab!! I am working with children aged 5 - 7 years old. Thanks!! |
Hi and welcome to Silkysteps, you can add small play objects to the ice trays before freezing which is great to extend the exploration, also good if there is a Child led focus eg: bugs or insects or maybe interlocking bricks which can then be used to build in the water, opening floating and sinking conversations ..
