Aaarrgghh spider! by Lydia Monks - full thread is a great book to use if focussing on inclusivity or evidencing inclusive resources.

Look at how the spider character wants to be part of a family. She's lonely on the ceiling and knows that the family could love her just the same as all the other members in the house. Despite the differences spider dreams of being a pet and enjoying the company of her new family.

It takes a while for things to change, but eventually spider is welcomed in.
