Explorers Backpack

You will need:

A cereal box, a small card strip and 2 old belts if possible or lengths of ribbon.

Paint the box brown and add pocket detail to the front. Glue the card strip to the middle of the rear flap of the box and cut a slit to fit the cards width about 2 inches down on the front of the box – this will keep the backpack closed when you push it through. On the reverse cut 4 slits, one each side at the top about 2 inches in and down and the same at the bottom. Thread through the belts/ribbon for straps.
