I am going to buy loads of herbs and have a herb garden this year, i have decided after seeing my mothers i want one, so this list is great, thank you.

Can I just say that I can't even keep them alive in my kitchen and I leave them in the pots they come in from the supermarket! :hissyfit:

lol .. me either! our own grown seedlings seem ok at the moment!

A great member suggestion for children's sensory learning is to put herb & aromatic plant sprigs into synthetic organza bags for the children to get a closer look at, touch/feel, smell, listen and where appropriate hold edible foods for taste.

It's hard to find a book that doesn't mention planning specifically for England's eyfs. These are a couple of titles you could use to guide play, learning & activity ideas

That's really helpful - I went tothe garden centre earlier this week and my lo's all touched and smelled the herbs and we chose some for our new sensory garden. Thank you. :spin:

I want to use some herbs for our children to plant....I'm going to get tyres to use as planters and get the children to plant some herbs, mint rosemary things that come back every year ideally x
