discuss how and why practitioners may be affected when meeting the care needs of children.

Is that the whole question?

If so, why do you think you may be affected when seeing to the care and needs of children?

It will depend on whether a child has any special needs- are you able to treat them with respect/equality and give them the best possible care? - with no discrimination etc

Are you able to see to any child's needs - whether they need a nappy changing or if they are sick etc. It seems silly to ask, but these all need to be taken into account when employing staff who will work directly with children.

Then there is your own religion/culture and ethnicity - does it affect how you treat other children if their family beliefs are different to your own?

I don't know what your full question is, but hopefully this will help you think of lots of other reasons now.
