The importance of safeguarding - it is important to safeguard children and young people because we want them to be happy, safe, enjoy life and reach their full potential.
- Make sure they are protected from harm and abuse,
- Give them the best possible start in life,
- So that they achieve the 5 every child matters outcomes.

Importance of a child and young person centred approach - if you have done unit CYP Core 3.2, then you can reference this back to that.
