There will be a number of ways in which you will record information in school, both formally and informally. If you are keeping school records on a child for any reason, you will need to follow school policy for the formal recording and storage of information. You may also need to report to others on something which has happened, for example, on the playground, if information needs to be passed on quickly. However you must make sure that you also have a formal record and that information is also passed to parents.
