Is there anyone who can help me out on the following questions? I've recently started my NVQ in child care and my assessor wants me to answer these questions for one of my units. However I'm struggling to understand them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :smile:

4.3 Analyse how practitioners can encourage parents and/or carers to support children’s learning and development

4.4 Explain how the needs of children whose parents and/or carers are users of adult services can be met through collaborative working

5.1 Explain how positive practice with children who are experiencing poverty and disadvantage may increase resilience and self confidence

5.2 Explain the importance of practitioners having high expectations of and ambitions for children

5.3 Analyse why practitioners supporting children who are vulnerable and/or experiencing poverty and disadvantage must act as facilitators of change in the work setting

Hi, welcome to the site. Has your tutor recommended a handbook for you to research these criteria?

If it helps page 410 of this EYE handbook defines Early Intervention as an 'approach that seeks to offer extra help and support to a family before the child starts to lag behind in development or experience neglect or abuse. Early intervention is about working co-cooperatively with parents and carers, giving them a chance to make choices about which services they need.
