Fundraising Guidelines

FUNDRAISING GUIDELINES

We are going to be featuring as many fundraising and Awareness campaigns as is possible and relevant !

For good practice purposes we decided to write out a few suggestions that everybody can use as a guide to arranging and organising any activities connected to supporting one of the highlighted events.

If you have more suggestions please feel free to add to this thread as experience shared are problems halved !!!

1. Decide what cause / awareness campaign you want to support in good time - consider it's relevance to your setting/home and the type of response you may recieve by supporting it.
2. Send a Letter to all your parents/carers letting them know what event you're supporting, the day it will be held, and what you will be requesting - eg. items/resources, volunteers!!! or a small donation of money.
3. Put out a poster or notice on the morning of your event - so that parents/carers can remember to bring any required items when they return to pick up their children.
4. Delegate a person to be responsible for paying in any collected monies - make sure they know how much has been collected plus where and when it is to be paid !!!
5. Remember to ask for a reciept of payment and to include this in any account keeping that is necessary!

Have fun and ENJOY yourselves !:spin:

Small Disclaimer/notification

We understand that not all campaigns are relevant or publicly/personally agreed upon and as such we will try to be as unbias in our publishing details as possible - we are independant & not affiliated with any charity organisation.

We accept the same considerations from our members and request they contact us before posting details of their own supported causes.

We need to be quite strict with this rule as spamming and scamming are both quite prevelant problems, on the internet and in real life !! Thankyou for your cooperation in this :)
