Ongoing training
 

Over the past year I have attended 8 different training courses ranging from Safeguarding/Child Protection to Epilepsy Awareness, Managing Children's Behaviour, Supporting and Supervising Staff etc. I keep hearing the same thing from my Management Committee "do you really need to go on all this training, do you not know it all by now?" Although it says in my contract of employment that I should be attending these courses I keep thinking maybe they don't want me to go to them. I have really benefited from the courses implementing a lot of strategies into the working situation and the courses have been after hours without any interference to the normal daily sessions. How can I convince them of the need to attend these courses?
