Hi,
I've been told by my assessor that there are 5 stages of creative development but can't find anything through research. I'm struggling so much here! Have you had any luck with yours yet?
Thanks in advance

Hi, a warm welcome to the site. Is Graham Wallas one of the theorists you're learning about? His five stage model puts forward preparation, incubation, intimation, insight and verification as a way to focus on creativity as a process and offers an explanation as to how new ideas emerge.

Hi welcome to the site

quote from page 409 of the level 3 handbook:

Creative learning should be embedded in all areas of learning and within our everyday routines. We should regularly look for opportunities for children to explore and problem solve. This means that we might work with children to design an obstacle course as part of promoting their physical development,or ask children to find a system of keeping the coats from falling onto the floor.

Areas of learning you can link to the practices & activities happening in your setting

Personal social and emotional: experiment - which is the best way to wash our hands?

Communication & language:
how can we organise our bookcorner?

Literacy:
which letters are in your name?

Numeracy
: how old do you think Teddy is? Why?

Knowledge of the world: here's a box of items, what can you find?

ICT: can you make an obstacle course for the code-a-pillar

Physical developemnt: which ball will travel the furthest when it's thrown?

Creative development: mixing colours - what happens?

Hth
