hey im new to this site and wondered if you could help me. these are the questions i have been given.
- How you recognise communication difficulties in adults and adapt the way in which you communicate with them.
- How you handle any disagreements with other adults in a way that maintains positive relationships
- When supporting children in developing relationships, how support children in developing ways of behaving, understanding other people’s feelings, support children who have been upset by others, encourage children to sort out conflict for themselves, and encourage other adults in the setting to have positive relationships with children.
- The meaning of appropriate and inappropriate behaviour when interacting with children and the importance of being fair when dealing with negative and positive behaviour.
thanks x :cheerful:

Hi, not sure if I've said welcome to the site .. so a warm welcome in xx

If you take a few words from each of these pcs and enter them into the search bar - top right, you'll find other posts have been made by members: thread for Communication difficulties

Pc's can be covered through professional discussions & the visits your assessor makes to you, if you need to write maybe break down what they are asking.

eg: Identify what communication difficulties could be: country specific language, impairement - visual or/and auditory, impediment.
Recognising communication difficulties is when you realise and understand that the information you are trying to impart is not being understood.

The adapting part is what you do to change the way you work/your practice and help the resources in the setting to adapt & change to find solutions and help everyone understand what's being said/visualised.

Hth, please enjoy Silkysteps xx
