CYP 3.6 1.1 Explain the importance of multi agency working and integrated working

Hi,

I thought I had completed the above question but my assessor has sent in back to say its not completed.

She would like me to mention early identification of needs to benefit and support the child/family.

Can anyone help with what she means by that? I have just explained how a little of how important it is and the earlier the intervention is the better it is for the child but don't know if she is looking for more than that.

Thanks in advance

Melcco

you need to read about the team around the child, early intervention and of course CAF

You could mention about the 2 year old offer being introduced? It was to give more families the opportunity to have their children in nursery at a younger age to help pick up on any dips in development and give support to the child and their families earlier on where it's needed? A lot of the children on 2 year old offer wouldn't enter any education ubtill they were of school age because families can't afford it. It also means families are involved with setting earlier and other things can be picked up on such as alcohol/substance abuse, domestic violence, behavioural issues learning difficulties the earlier these things are picked up on the sooner support can be implemented and the effects less detrimental?
