Be Safe This Bonfire Night

The Firework Code

Fireworks on amazon

:rocket: (UK) Only buy fireworks marked BS7114
:rocket: Don't drink alcohol if setting off fireworks
:rocket: Keep fireworks in a closed box or tin
:rocket: Use fireworks one at a time, replacing the lid immediately
:rocket: Follow the instructions carefully on each firework, using a torch or hand lamp, never a naked flame
:rocket: Light them at arms length, using a taper, never a naked flame
:rocket: Stand well back
:rocket: Never go near a firework that has been lit. Even if it hasn't gone off, it could still explode
:rocket: Never put fireworks in your pocket
:rocket: Never throw fireworks
:rocket: Always supervise children around fireworks
:rocket: Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves
:rocket: Never give sparklers to children under 5
:rocket: Dispose of sparklers by placing them, hot end first, into a bucket of water
:rocket: Keep pets and animals indoors
:rocket: Don't let off noisy fireworks after 11pm

A great website for advice is berr.gov.uk

Fireworks: Be safe not sorry. Always follow the code.

Have fun whatever your plans. :cheerful:
