Finding shadows on the yard
 

These games can be used for general play and as a reference to self.

You will need a sunny day or ability to make shadows outdoors / in

Some questions to help play could include

How stuck on is your shadow?
Can you escape from it ?
Can you help your shadow hide?
Is your shadow following you - are you following your shadow
Is it going forwards or backwards.
Can shadows jump - can they hop, skip or step

See if the Children can touch each other with their shadows only - Shadow tag.

Use small towels and sheets to make shadow caves - who goes in and who goes out.

Draw around shadows with chalk or if on the beach/sand use sticks to mark outlines.
