Guided Learning Hours

I have just completed all my work for the L3 (the old Cache diploma not the new EYE) an my assessor is coming out for my exit interview and final sign off on Wednesday.
My college require that I complete a Guided learning hours log, which I have done. However, My total hours fall some what short of what is recommended. I am now worried that they won't pass me because of this:-(
However, my written work, professional discussion and observations have all been excellent. I feel it's just because I have 9 years experience, and keep myself fully informed and involved in things that affect my job and the children, that it has taken up less of my time whereas an apprentice or somebody with little experience may need to do more research and reading. Will I be failed?
I'm in an panic and don't want to contact my assessor on a Sunday and besides she isn't back in work until Tuesday.

Hi a very warm welcome to the site :) xx it's okay, at this point you're not immediately able to do clarify anything about the GLAs so once you've been able to express your concerns to your tutor they'll be able to look at any potential issues and suggest what happens next.

Try to sleep easy xx

The glh are what THEY have to provide not you. They get you to keep a log so they can pretend theyve taught you enough. Lazy cheap college. Dont worry its them that need to prove it
