All you A1 students or those with their D32/33, what qualifications/experience did you need to assess CCLD students. My background is in play.....

ideally you have a have the level above that which you want to assess. to assess nvqs you really need a thorough understanding of them so for assessing level 2 i would say at least level 3 playwork. i wouldnt take on an assessor without the ccld 3 and wouldn't take on a playworker for it as there skills as distinctly different than the ccld. so my students would be asked to do a level 3 nvq ccld first
