Documentation for OFSTED inspection

What paperwork/documentation will Ofsted want to see on inspection?

Hi a very warm welcome to the site, have you had the opportunity to read this page - being inspected and the inspection process ?

Ofsted will be looking to see how your setting implements the requirements of EYFS 2014 if you're in England, so any paperwork or documentation that your setting's put in place to show it's meeting those requirements.

eg. your registration, any conditions placed on your registration, parental permission for the inspector to be in your home and to observe their child/ren, your enhanced DBS certificate, safeguarding procedures for recruiting staff, procedures that demonstrate everyone knows how to recognise and respond to signs of abuse and how to act when there are concerns about a child, that you know about the duty to liase with the local authority's statutory children's services, how you manage and deal with children's behaviour, have suitable inside and outside environments, how ratios are met if they apply, first aid certificates, public liability, any complaints you've received
