In and Out
Fun opposites that can involve lots of physical activities to demonstrate them.
Use actions, positions and language opportunities when drawing up your lesson plans. Actions can include Hoola hoops ~ jumping in and out of them. Ball games that involve throwing balls/bean bags in to target buckets & bowls Rolling objects in and out of obstacles on pre set courses. Running in and out of marked areas on the floor. Crawling 'In and 'Out of play tunnels and tent openings. Breathing ~ at a quiet moment .. teach the children how to slow down, think about and 'feel their breathing 'in and 'out. Good play toys for demonstating In and Out Dolls house. Place particular items of furniture 'In specific rooms. Take 'Out pieces that can be moved to another room. Bees and a Beehive. Make a hive from a sturdy shoe box and Bees from yellow pompoms or paper. Have the children fly the bees 'In to the Hive to deposit their nectar and then fly 'Out again in search of more. Play garage ~ Parking slots Can the children drive the cars 'In to the parking spaces and then drive them 'Out again. Water tray Place small role play animals 'In to the water - Take 'Out ones that live on the land ! ************************************************* Please carry on with more ideas ...:thumbsup: |
How about threading shoelaces/ thick wool 'in & out' through pre-punched holes on card or plastic?
